CAER EN EL AMOR (SAN VALENTÍN ATRASADO)
Pido disculpas por la demora. Intenté escribir un post para San Valentín pero se me trancó el sistema y lo único que pude hacer fue mandarle el mail a una persona con el contenido de lo que iba a ser el blog. Al final no logré postear pero sí logré el amor. A continuación transcribo lo que iba a ser el BLOG de el 14 de febrero. La otra historia, la del AMOR, viene después.
"Estimados amigos: Chica Vudú tiene mucho calor en verano. Está a punto de entrar en sus vacaciones. Así que no le pidan demasiado esfuerzo intelectual. En lo que va del año del chancho ya ha pasado todo lo que tenía que pasar para que quede demostrado que el 2007 viene bravo, sobretodo en lo relativo al corazón. En fin, no tengo mucho más que agregar.
Estuve navegando por la web y encontré algún material que podría resultar de interés para los que quieran saber un poco acerca de la fecha de San Valentín, aniversario de los enamorados.
Estoy leyendo la novela de Nick Hornby, "En picado". Ya haré una lista de las 50 mejores novelas que leí en mi vida, dentro de la cual figurará en los primeros lugares "Alta fidelidad". Así que les mando un beso a todos y que sean felices.
"Mi corazón se ha partido en dos" como dice Charly García en "La hija de la lágrima", disco que está dentro de mis 10 favoritos. Por más exhibicionismo emocional que haya presentado en el pasado, ahora no tengo ganas de seguir en esa línea, al menos no quiero contar toda mi crisis afectiva en este blog. Sólo les diré que he quedado sola después de mucho tiempo. Creo que es suficiente. No se pongan mal por mí, ya estoy tomando té hipérico para la depresión, flores de bach, voy a anotarme en un gimnasio, voy a mirar muchas películas.
¿Qué otra cosa se puede hacer frente a una crisis amorosa?
Por supuesto que todas mis convicciones se han venido abajo o han quedado en suspenso por un tiempo, por no hablar de las paranoias pseudo-religiosas "Debo de haber cometido un pecado" "Es el karma, esto me sucedió por la ley de causa-efecto" "Nada sucede porque sí". También están los momentos optimistas "Bueno, momento de empezar una vida nueva" o "He perdido un novio, he ganado un amigo" o "Lo mejor es lo que queda por vivir". En fin. He retomado mis lecturas. Ahora no tengo excusas.

Si quieren mi aporte personal a este día tendrán que ver las fotos que le saqué a mi amiga STA. MISERIA con uno de los muñequitos vudú que realicé. Hice una serie de seis para mis amigos, gratis. Fueron como una cadena de amor. Después me tomé un descanso y hasta ahora no he vuelto a producir. Pero considero que el modelo que hice para ella es el adecuado para festejar San Valentín.
Ahora sí, lo que viene a continuación es mi homenaje a los que aún se encuentran bajo ese sentimiento de estar enamorados, de caer en el amor.

El Día de San Valentín es una celebración tradicional en la que los novios,enamorados o esposos se expresan su amor o cariño mutuamente. Se celebra el 14 de febrero, onomástico de San Valentín. En el calendario de la Antigua Atenas, el periodo comprendido entre mediados de enero y mediados de febrero era el mes de Gamelion, dedicado al sagrado matrimonio de Zeus y Hera. En la antigua Roma, el 15 de febrero se celebraban las Lupercales, en honor de Fauno Luperco, dios de la fertilidad.
Modernidad
El Día de San Valentín moderno fue importado a Norteamérica en el siglo XIX por los británicos. Los primeros "valentines" producidos en masa datan de 1847 gracias a Esther A. Howland (1828 - 1904) de Worcester, Massachusetts.
El Día de San Valentín en los países de habla hispana
La fiesta se introdujo en España a mediados del siglo XX, con el motivo de incentivar la compra de regalos.
En Colombia no se celebra el 14 de febrero sino en septiembre, pues comercialmente febrero es el mes de la temporada escolar en la mayor parte del país. Es común la tradición del amigo secreto, que consiste en sortearse el recipiente de un regalo -hombre o mujer- sin que este sepa quién se lo obsequió.
El Día de San Valentín en los países no occidentales
Aunque China también ha importado esta celebración occidental, ya existía el Qi Qiao Jie (Día para mostrar las habilidades), celebrado el séptimo día del séptimo mes del calendario lunar (el próximo será el 19 de agosto de 2007.
Por su parte en Japón, además del festival de Tanabata , versión local del Qi Qiao Jie, el Día de San Valentín se celebra desde mediados del siglo XX, impulsado inicialmente por la compañía de chocolates Morozoff en 1936. Como una especie de compensación, también producto del mercadeo, los hombres devuelven el favor un mes después, el 14 de marzo, celebración conocida como White Day ("Día blanco"), día en el cual se suelen regalar chocolates blancos, malvaviscos o cualquier obsequio de color blanco, incluso ropa interior. Además en México se tiene una emotiva celebración que es auténtica para los enamorados y siempre son los que promueven el amor en este país. Nick Hornby traslada el suicidio al terreno del humor con «En picado»
Nochevieja en un edificio de Londres conocido como «la torre de los suicidas». Empujados por el impulso de quitarse la vida precipitándose al vacío, cuatro personajes coinciden accidentalmente en la azotea: un presentador de televisión humillado por la prensa amarilla, una madre soltera con un hijo discapacitado, una adolescente desengañada y un aspirante a estrella del rock.
Así arranca «En picado» (Anagrama), novela con la que Nick Hornby (Maidenhead, 1951) aborda el tema del suicidio desde un punto de vista satírico y repleto de humor . «Personalmente creo que se puede bromear sobre cualquier cosa, pero esto es algo que habría que preguntar a los lectores para ver si realmente lo encuentran divertido o repulsivo», señaló ayer el popular escritor británico durante la presentación del libro en Barcelona.
Autor de «Fiebre en las gradas», «Alta fidelidad» y «Cómo ser buenos», a Hornby le bastó con cruzar el portal de su casa para tropezarse con el tema de su quinta novela. «Cerca de donde vivo hay un puente desde el que la gente salta muy a menudo, y después de oír por la radio que los días de Nochebuena, Nochevieja y San Valentín son especialmente populares para saltar, me pregunté si no sería posible que en un mismo día coincidieran cuatro personas», explicó. El desarrollo del relato, estructurado a partir de monólogos de cada uno de los personajes y plagado de situaciones hilarantes, le permite a Hornby darle una pincelada «de humor negro» a un tema tan «triste y serio» como el del suicidio. «Intentaba captar la desesperación de la gente que trata de dar sentido a si propia historia», apuntó el autor.

No faltan en la novela críticas a los tabloides británicos y sus «celebridades sin talento», reflexiones sobre la educación y, cómo no, sabrosas referencias musicales, tema comodín para uno de los escritores quecon mayor equilibrio ha sabido atravesar las pasarelas que conectan el pop con la literatura. «Creo que no podría escribir sin música», relativizó Hornby, quien hace dos años ya dejó por escrito algunas de sus devociones musicales en el libro «31 canciones».
Detallista, irónico y con una habilidad especial para desentrañar relaciones humanas, Hornby confesó ayer lo mucho que tardó en darse cuenta de que, a pesar de estar perfectamente acotadas en el barrio en el que vive, sus novelas podrían llegar a cruzar fronteras y países. «Cuando escribí «Fiebre en las gradas» y «Alta fidelidad», no podía imaginar que nadie fuese a leerlos más allá de mi barrio. Pero entonces los libros empezaron a editarse en otros países y me di cuenta de que no escribía sólo para la gente de mi barrio: escribía para una generación concreta de gente que ha crecido en una ciudad».
Satisfecho con las exitosas adaptaciones cinematográficas que se han hecho de «Alta fidelidad» y «Érase una vez un padre», Hornby anunció ayer que Johnny Deep acaba de adquirir los derechos de «En picado» para llevar la novela a la gran pantalla y desveló que su próximo libro, en el que ya está trabajando, supondrá su debut en la narrativa juvenil.

La principal cadena británica de farmacias anunció que el 14 de febrero, al celebrarse el Día de los Enamorados, venderá Viagra sin receta en la ciudad de Manchester. Según la BBC, el interesado, varón de entre 30 y 35 años, podrá comprar cuatro píldoras por 50 libras, sin necesidad de receta, aunque deberá someterse a una breve consulta con el mismo farmacéutico. La empresa asegura que sólo el diez por ciento de los tres millones de varones británicos con problemas de impotencia está siendo tratado y que la oferta es una forma de ayudarlos. El que después quiera comprar más pastillas tendrá que recurrir al médico.

Todo empezó con un sueño. Aunque es más largo de explicar. Pero soñé que él me abrazaba en la cocina de mi casa y me decía "Te quiero, Paty". Era lindo. Me levanté de muy buen humor, aunque sin entender mucho. Ya hacía un mes o más que estaba sola. Mi ex- se había ido con otra chica. Yo estaba muy angustiada y desmotivada. Lloraba todos los días. La casa era triste, comía sola, sólo mi perro quedaba como única familia. Pero había entrado a tener correspondencia con este chico que ya conocía de antes y que estaba solo. Una amiga me aconsejó que no dejara de escribirme con ese chico. Empezamos a chatear y una noche me llamó por teléfono. Eran la una de la mañana. Me asusté. Sentí que él tenía un interés más allá de su preocupación por mi situación. Yo atendí. Estuvimos al tubo toda la noche, pero ninguno insinuó nada. Era el encuentro de dos almas puras. Ya se que esa parte no se la creen, bueno, problema de ustedes. Esa noche tuve el sueño en el que se plasmaba un sentimiento de amor muy grande. Al otro día volvimos a chatear, volvió a llamarme. Me dijo que tenía una invitación para hacerme, que me estaba escribiendo un mail. Lo leí. Chateamos un rato más pero él no aguantó. Yo tenía miedo. No quería que me llamara. Sabía que si volvía a llamar nada volvería atrás. Y así fue. Volvimos hablar, estuve varias horas para contarle lo del sueño. Y no se lo conté hasta que vino a casa a las siete de la mañana. Él tenía miedo de aprovecharse de que yo estaba pasando un mal momento. Y además tenía miedo. Yo también, pero yo tenía una gran necesidad de que ese sueño fuera realidad. Así que esperamos unas horas, desayunamos sin dormir, tomamos té. Recién a las 10 de la mañana decidimos acostarnos. Nunca dormimos. Desde esa noche (una después de San Valentín) no nos hemos vuelto a separar.
Ayer pasamos en su casa. Nos gusta hablar en la cama, antes y después de. Yo saco temas estúpidos, esos que quieren decir "Vos me interesás, quiero que sepas todo de mí y quiero saber todo de vos". Nos miramos a los ojos. Sonreímos. Comemos chocolate, fumamos. Nos acostamos a las cinco de la mañana. Ayer le pregunté si alguna vez le había dicho a alguien "Te amo". Aunque me parece un poco cursi, se que el día que me lo diga me va a desarmar. Como cuando me dice "Te quiero" o "Me volvés loco". Me confesó que sí, que a su ex- le había dicho eso. Yo lo escuchaba. Según él, cuando se dice eso es algo muy profundo, se está dispuesto a todo. Después saqué el tema de los celos. Él me dijo que si yo le llegaba a ser infiel quemaría todos mis libros. Se metería con lo que más quiero. Eso es una buena amenaza. Hay que hablar de los celos desde los primeros meses, para saber con quién estamos al lado.
Me gusta hablar hasta muy tarde con él. No podemos dejar de dormir una noche juntos. A mí me parece normal, lo que todos desearían. A él le parece preocupante que me extrañe tanto y no quiera dejarme de ver ni un día. A mí esta preocupación de él me parece muy graciosa y dejo que se le pase y se de cuenta de que su miedo es parte de la bendición. Estamos enamorados. Y basta de palabras. Las imágenes ilustrarán.
